Successful Completion of the Special Meeting Regarding the Re-organization of 6 NationWide Funds
We are pleased to announce strong voter turnout and the successful completion of the Special Meeting regarding the re-organization of our 6 Nationwide funds.
After thorough deliberation and consideration, the special resolutions of the Trusts has been overwhelmingly approved as follows:
Proxy Voting results are as follows:
Nationwide Self Storage Trust – 99.16% in favor
Nationwide II Self Storage & Auto Wash Trust – 97.70% in favor
Nationwide Self Self Storage & Auto wash Trust – 98.22% in favor
Nationwide IV Self Storage & Auto Wash Trust – 99.53% in favor
Nationwide Express Auto Wash Trust – 100% in favor
Nationwide VI Self Storage &/ Or Auto Wash Trust – 100% in favor
With almost 100% of votes in favor, the support for this proposal has exceeded the required approval threshold of 66 2/3%, demonstrating strong support from our unitholders for this strategic initiative.
The re-organization of these funds is a strategic move aimed at optimizing our resources, enhancing operational efficiencies and providing greater value to our investors.
By consolidating our assets, we aim to achieve more robust investment portfolios, streamlined management and reduced administrative costs, all of which contribute to better returns and value.
Important Note: We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and will be working diligently over the coming months with back offices, trust companies and municipalities to effect this initiative. As we will be applying for the stratification of 3 properties, we may experience delays with municipal approvals. We anticipate this to be completed by the end of August, 2024, subject of course to timely municipal approvals.
